Exhibit at the
Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center

3 - 6 November 2016

Thanks again to the support of PhotoInter (which is part of the China Photographers Association) for my on-going project on my experiences in the US,  I have been able to show a small selection of photos during the 11th China Photography Festival organised at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center

I have not been provided by the official translation of the festival's name yet. and according to Google it roughly translates to a "cum first conciliation photography culture season" which is possibly a good thing.

I will update this post if I ever get that information right.

All the photos hereafter of the event have been sent to me by PhotoInter as I was travelling at the time of the show

Six of the Eight photos displayed

One of the walls of the display with a plaque in Chinese language only. The exhibit has been mainly attended by a Chinese public so it's understandable.

Someone possibly enjoying the images.

These are some images of the overall show. As you can see, it was - as is normal in China - a massive show. My section seems so small in relation to the size of the event.

What is most interesting - in my opinion - is that the type of shows which take place here.
It was one of the sites of the 2014 APEC Summit. A massive reunion of world leaders.

This is as close as my photos will ever get to Obama I suppose.

(all these images I found through Google Images, if you are the author of the image, please contact me and I will give you proper credit)

And more recently, it has also been the location of the 2016 Beijing International Film Festival. Which I guess is as close as my photos will ever get to Natalie Portman.
